1. The Girl Who Stopped Swimming by Joshilyn Jackson, which I won from Diary of an Eccentric
2. The Tudor Rose by Margaret Campbell Barnes, which I received from Sourcebooks for review in October.

3. Sacred Hearts by Sarah Dunant, which I received from Shelf Awareness for review in July.
The local Germantown, Md., library has book sales pretty often, usually about once

per month. June 13 was the latest book sale that Anna, The Girl, and I swooped into to get some good books. $1 for hardcover, 50 cents for paperback, and kids hardcovers were 50 cents, and kids paperbacks were 25 cents. The last book sale we went to, we arrived after 10 AM, and the sale began at 9 AM. We decided to get there when it opened to see if there were better books at that hour. Well, we got there and found a line already had formed before 8:50 AM. Crazy. I took a shot with the camera phone.
