I am reading at a much slower pace than usual, and the week off I planned for writing really has gone awry.
With a death in the family, I’ve felt a bit on pause. I can’t get too motivated, which I guess is normal. There are just so many tasks that need to be checked off the list, but it really is more about the grieving process. It is definitely a process.
I’m defintely in a fog and trying to keep things rolling along like the family manager I am, but I really feel like curling up in a ball and going to sleep. Even watching TV does little to help.
Writer’s block is generally a term I don’t use because I do write every day at work, and I am writing this post now. But creatively, I have a block.
I’d love to hear your advice if you have some.
I am sorry for your loss. When the time is right, you will be inspired again. Take care of your wellbeing now.
What Caitlin said. Sometimes other priorities have to be addressed. It will return in time.
